This single was produced by CMA Board member and CMA Award winner Shane McAnally and the video was directed by Grammy Award-winning director Joseph Kahn. Though often perceived to be a problem of the inner city, substance use has long been prevalent in rural areas. Rural adults have higher rates of use for tobacco and methamphetamines, while prescription drug misuse and heroin use has grown in towns of every size. Substance use can be especially hard to combat in rural communities due to limited resources for prevention, treatment, and recovery.

Many businesses across North Carolina say they struggle to find quality workers.  We look at the impact of an apprenticeship program in Alamance County that addresses the immediate need for skilled workers and seeks to grow the next generation of leaders in manufacturing.
