The veteran unemployment rate has steadily dropped since its all-time high of nearly 12% in April 2020, but as of March 2021, the veteran unemployment rate is still at 4.6%. Veteran advocates say it can be difficult for people to transition out of the military into the civilian job market. However, veterans often bring a unique approach and skillset to jobs.

The Farmer to Farmer program, run by the North Carolina Agromedicine Institute, is a peer support program that has seen success in connecting farmers with mental health resources. During the last year and a half, the institute has increased its efforts to raise awareness about farm stress and how it affects the farmers, their families and their communities.

Black mothers and babies are dying at disproportionate rates across the country. It’s a problem that has gotten worse in the past few decades. Imagine a world where your child can see a doctor without having to leave their school. That dream is a reality in McDowell County as the school district uses a telemedicine program to connect children to doctors with an iPad.

Petr Torak MBE, CEO of Compas Charity, describes concerns reported by Czech, Slovak and Romanian Roma communities in Peterborough around access to health care. This community insight is part of an ARC East of England research project: Right to Health for Gypsies, Travellers, Roma and Showmen families.

There are 13 purposes in the Charities Act, but the Commission specifically defines what activity is deemed to be charitable; not all is. It's something the Commission takes very seriously, so you need to take care in drafting these. This video explains why charity objects are important and what you need to do.

Today Kyle took his puppy Leela to the pet store, and he bought everything she touched for the local animal shelter! Kyle likes to do something nice during the holiday season every year, so this was especially fun to do with Leela. Donating to the Animal shelter was pretty hard, Kyle got emotional because it broke his heart to see all the animals without a family. Even though the day kind of ended in tears (he didn't want to vlog that part), the experience was really special!
