A brave Long Island teen battling a crippling disease got the surprise of a lifetime recently. Her Elmont community teamed up with members of a local charity for a surprise renovation. CBS2's Jennifer McLogan met the selfless volunteers and the remarkable, deserving young woman.

🙏😁 We believe charity comes from the heart. It's our continuous effort to give back to communities and bring hope to people's lives.

🤩🇵🇭 Once again we share our recent initiative in the Philippines, where the PWG Group provided aid to 100 people in need. It was a humbling experience, and we're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to society's betterment.
